DAY 34

A bit of sunshine on such a wet grey day, this is about the only colour in our garden, a Dandelion.

While many people think of the common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) as a pesky weed, herbalists consider it a valuable herb with many culinary and medicinal uses and look how pretty it is.

Did you know that the white zap out of a Dandelion stem will remove warts and skin tags if dabbed on them for 9 days...

Today, dandelion roots are mainly used as an appetite stimulant, digestive aid, and for liver and gallbladder function. Dandelion leaves are used as a diuretic to stimulate the excretion of urine.
